The year 2006 saw a new wave in L&T in the form of ATL, Any time Learning. It was a learning moment that was ahead of its time. ATL system helped in reaching eLearning to the width and breadth of L&T and ATL started becoming a synonym for eLearning as Cadbury became to chocolate. As the Learning Management System (LMS) grew to a Learning Experience Portal (LXP) in 2017, we have seen a first variation, a different avatar of ATL, as ATLNext. While running the LXP, the brand emphasized cognitive and competency-based learning. Having its own Recommendation engine and Learning Index, ATL is taken to Next level in its literal form. In the present form, the ATLNext system grew from a single LXP to a Diverse Learning Ecosystem, and using the ecosystem, a variety of Role-based Academies, journey programs, learning paths, etc are being offered. With this, ATL took shape of a university under the brand of ATLvarsity . The purpose of the academies is to build capability to handle a business problem and devising a feasible, scalable solution. The academies are built to offer short term & long-term courses, journey programs and a blend of online and classroom programs. The means includes quality education, defining a role and learning focus area of the role, research & publications and recognizing learnings.
